Hello! I’m Karen, a 2nd year Health Sciences undergraduate student at Rice University. I have an extensive background in science, having competed for my high school’s science team for 4 years in chemistry and biology. As the chemistry captain of the science team and having really enjoyed AP chemistry, I enjoyed tutoring my peers throughout high school in any level of chemistry. Currently at Rice, I volunteer for a club which teaches K-12 students chemistry through experiments. I really enjoy tutoring others and look forward to making difficult subjects simple and fun!
I’m Victor, a student at Rice University pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I’m well versed in algebra, trigonometry, and introductory physics (mechanics). Currently, I’m involved in research in renewable energy systems, specifically, concentrated photovoltaics. I’m passionate about physics and mathematics, but most of all, I enjoy helping others. I tutored students on my high school’s competitive science team and led study groups in AP Physics and Chemistry, and I look forward to being able to use that experience to help you learn as well.
