Why do we offer a free 30-minute session? 

The reason that we offer a free 30-minute session is 2-fold. First, it gives anyone a chance to see if our company will be a good fit for your tutoring needs. It has been shown that the first eTutoring session is the most daunting for the student and we at Griner Tutors do not want to charge so you as a student or as the parent of the student if you feel like we may not be a good fit. This allows you to get to know your Tutor and the Tutor can get to know you so the Tutor can better understand how to help you.  Second, I encourage parents to utilize the free 30-minute session.  The parent usually accompanies their child during the session so that me or my Tutors can quickly understand how best to help your child where every student client is unique and harbors specific needs that if addressed appropriately will lead to better success.

Do we help out under-served, poor college students, and other that need help?

Yes. I am willing to personally tutor what I can for minimal cost with the promise to pay or even sign up for subsequent sessions. I often create special package tutoring deals on a case-by-case basis.

When did this company start operating? 

We officially began operating as an online eTutoring Company in March 2023. Based out of Valdosta, Georgia, we are 8 Tutors. Thus, being a relatively new company has actually been blessing in disguise where time is not an issue, and what keeps us going is knowing that the best way to learn is usually from a personal Tutor, especially given certain circumstances of the student.

Why do we have only master’s and PhD degree holding Tutors? 

The reason that we hire only Tutors that have graduate degrees is for many reasons. First, graduate school shows how the real-world works and because we are establishing a more personal approach to tutoring, we are placing the emphasis of applicability, practicality, and pragmatism, and how to learn to apply, but too also understand how you can apply more directly and quickly what you need help with to real-life, problems and issues, but to also do this in a one-hour sessions. My Tutors are very bright, have a tremendous amount of knowledge in their field, and know how best to help you, especially now that we are developing the best personalized tutoring in the industry because we care that you succeed.

Will Griner Tutors offer other subjects? 

Absolutely. We are currently in the process of doing so.  We plan to add subjects in the Humanities, Foreign Languages, and other subjects to our list of subjects we can help with.  We also soon plan to expand into Europe and Asia with Tutors that speak the countries native language.  We also plan to offer help in Anthropology, History, and other subjects, and are always open to suggestion for new subjects to offer.
